With each and every Orchid ‘Healthcarer’ course we try and combine a little of what is currently in the government eye, revision on problems recently encountered, by either or both Nurses and Health Carers, specific learning information and always include Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Fire and Food Hygiene Sections.
The emphasis within the course may be on infection control, abuse, medicines, consent, or possibly an explanation of Working Time Regulations, but each course is written from feedback and communication received from all three parties - our clients, nurses and courses always contain updates.
Orchid Nursing hold two training course per annum, our staff need not attend both but they must attend one each year.
INDUCTION (Skills Levels)
Orchid Nursing have our own Induction process which is shown on our registration page. Induction enables our clients, the staff member and ourselves to know exactly what level of HCA they are - this is shown by a skills level card displayed on their person.
