Holiday
The holiday season is upon us and we are sure that many of you will be taking a break or indeed spending time with your family.  Let us hope that the weather is kind and you have a lovely summer. However, please can we request that should you not be available for work through August the please contact the office and inform us so that we are not bothering whilst you are away.  Thank you in advance.  Just a reminder that Monday 30 August is a bank holiday and shifts will be paid at double time and there will no transport available on that day.

Training
Just a reminder that training needs updating on a regular basis.  Manual Handling and Fire Awareness need updating yearly and Food Hygiene is three yearly.  We are holding the following courses : 12 August @ 10.30 a.m. Fire Awareness, 19 August @10.30a.m. Food Hygiene and 26 August @ 10.00 a.m. Manual Handling. Places are limited so if you would like to book a place then please call the office and reserve a place.

Transport
I am sorry to be mentioning this subject again but a few members of staff have been rude to the drivers.  The drivers are very busy and we run to very tight schedules.  The service provided is not a personal taxi service but a service for BSS Recruitment and Orchid NNS Ltd to assist staff in reaching their work places.  Pick up’s and drop off should be at the office , we do try to assist by picking people up at home and dropping them at home after a shift, but is not always possible.  Can we request that you do not shout at the driver if your designated pick up or drop of is at the office.   Please be patient and be pleasant to the drivers as they do have busy schedules.

Payslips                                                                                                          
Staff are reminded that payslips are ready for collection on a Friday afternoon each week.  All payslips are kept in the office until they are collected.
