TRAINING
The course dates for March are as follows:

There will be a Manual Handling Course in April but a date is yet to set.
Please book your places early as they are limited.

We are in the process of fitting out of own training room in Bedford where we can accommodate many courses.  This room will be fitted out with the essential equipment.  It will also be available for hire by the hour, day or week.

UNIFORMS
We now have a new stock of uniforms in the office, anybody wishing to purchase one please come into the office where will be pleased to assist you.

Transport
Just as a reminder that none Orchid staff are not covered under our insurances if they travel in our buses.  Please do not ask the drivers to take other staff home as it is not permitted and places the drivers in an embarrassing situation.

Orchid Skill Levels
Orchid is very busy and we are in need of more carers completing their Level 3.  If you have not already completed any skills then to start with you will need to complete 2 & 4, which you all should have completed.  Once these are have carried out then if should wish you can move onto Level 3, Level 3 will open the door for you to work in a wider variety of homes/hospitals.  Please contact Tracey if you wish to pursue this avenue.
